What Are You Doing for Self-Care This Weekend?

Create your own spa

At the end of a long week, nothing feels better than sinking into a bubble bath. While you’re at it, try out a new face mask, or experiment with a DIY hair mask.

We recommend lighting some scented candles and putting on your favorite music. Taking the time to pamper yourself will also boost your confidence and relax your mind.

Re-connect

Human beings are social animals. We need to feel connected to each other; that’s what helps us flourish. Sadly, we all get very caught up in the whirlwind of our lives, and we tend to forget to reach out to our nearest and dearest.

This weekend, call an old friend or a faraway cousin. Spend some time chatting about what’s going on in your lives. Ask questions, share stories, and laugh together.

Try a new workout routine

Exercise is one of the best ways to battle stress. It’s a natural mood-booster, and it’ll sharpen your brain, too. But sometimes, we get stuck in a rut. Working out starts to feel like just another chore.
