Quarantine & Chill: How to Stay Sane During Quarantine

If you’re feeling a little anxious these days, you’re not alone. We’re all struggling to adjust to the “new normal,” and we know it’s not easy. That’s why we put together this list of tips and tricks to help you quarantine like a boss.

Treat yourself

Small, daily treats can make a huge difference to your well-being. We recommend creating a self-care ritual that you can look forward to every day. That might mean a few squares of rich chocolate, or a glass of wine in the evening. It can also mean a bubble bath or a manicure.

Just make sure that you don’t go overboard. Don’t let that glass of wine turn into a bottle! Treats work best when they’re small and special.

Focus on relationships

This is a great time to forge deeper connections to your family and friends. Even though you’re hunkering down at home, you can still reach out to your loved ones over Zoom and Skype. Chatting with your friends will lift your spirits, and it will remind you that you’re not alone.

Look for ways you can help others, too. If you have elderly friends and relatives, check in to see whether they need anything. You might be able to help arrange their food delivery, or make sure they’re getting their prescriptions filled.

Make a schedule

Psychologists says that sticking to a routine can do wonders for your mental health. Make a schedule with set times for work, family time, and meals. Don’t forget to build in time for exercise and for your daily treats!

If you write down your master plan, you’ll be much likelier to stick to it. Using the right daily planner can help you stay on top of your life and handle this quarantine like a boss.
