1. Do NOT Over Exfoliate
We have gotten so obsessed with exfoliating our skin! Maybe it's the satisfying feeling you get from seeing the day scrubbed away or the fear of waking up with a new blemish. However, over-exfoliating, your skin can be extremely damaging by constantly stripping away your natural oils and breaking down the cells on your face. Everyone's skin is different, but try using a light natural scrub 2-3 times a week; your skin will thank you.
2. Everyone should be wearing sunscreen if you plan on spending time outside, yes, even you. The sun's UV rays can be causing damage to your skin even if you don't feel burnt. Choosing a daily moisturizer that has even a small amount of SPF protection will help keep your skin protected and healthy.
3. Speaking of moisturizer, make sure you are using it often! Even though it is summertime and you may not feel as dry as you do in the colder months, you must moisturize your skin at least twice a day. Moisture is the key to avoiding lines, wrinkles, and keeping that youthful glow!
